Moses Sumney released his debut full-length album, Aromanticism, last September via Jagjaguwar. It was our #1 Debut Album of 2017 and one of our overall Top 100 Albums of 2017. Now he has shared a self-directed video (or short film, as a press release calls it) for "Quarrel," in what is his directorial debut. The video for the seven-minute long song features Sumney in a snowy landscape as he interacts with horses. The video was co-directed by Allie Avital and originally premiered on Apple Music. Watch it below, followed by Sumney's upcoming tour dates.

Aromanticism includes the singles "Doomed" (for which there was both a regular video and a live performance video), the beautiful "Quarrel" (which was one of our Songs of the Week), and "Indulge Me" (which was also a Song of the Week). Sumney also covered Björk's "Come to Me," from her 1993 album Debut. He also shared a video for "Lonely World" and performed "Plastic" on Later... with Jools Holland. He also did a Tiny Desk Concert and performed at the Oscars with Sufjan Stevens.
