
Muse to Offer Resistance in September
New Album Due September 15th, U2 Tour Planned

British trio Muse is set to release its new album, The Resistance, on September 15th via Warner Bros. This is the follow-up to 2006's Black Holes and Revelations. The Resistance was recorded in Italy, was produced by Muse, and was mixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent (U2, Depeche Mode, Oasis). Muse will celebrate their fifth album by performing two days earlier, at the 2009 MTV Music Awards (Sept. 13th). Also, the group is supporting U2, including two fall concerts at New York's Giants Stadium. The rest of the tour dates can be found at the band's Myspace.

The Muse is a great band. I have been listening to them since they first came out. This new album should really rock our socks off.
