Leading up to the release of their seventh album The Waterfall on May 4 from ATO/Capitol Records, My Morning Jacket has begun a new philanthropic project to raise awareness of global climate change and environmental issues. The drive behind The Waterfall Project is “to support great nonprofit organizations and to promote the seemingly small acts people take towards making a difference, and that when combined with others, can lead to big change,” according to a recent press release.
You can watch, and are encouraged to share, the Beautify Earth video below which elaborates more on the work that the guys in My Morning Jacket are doing.
