On November 22nd, My Morning Jacket will get animated, lending their likenesses, voices and music to television show, American Dad.
Says show co-creator Mike Barker the idea for the collaboration came about after the band’s early morning, rain soaked Bonnaroo performance in 2008. States Barker via press release, “I pitched the idea to the guys the next day and thankfully they were on board.” Strange? No, contends Barker. “The best band in the world appearing on the 59th top-rated show on television? It’s a no-brainer.”
