My Morning Jacket to Headline Sandy Benefit Concert

At the Paramount Theater in Asbury Park on Jan. 2

My Morning Jacket have announced they will headline a special benefit concert at Paramount Theater on the Asbury Park Boardwalk to raise money for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Taking place Jan. 2, the event will feature additional performances by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Nicole Atkins, Tangiers Blues Band, and will be hosted by Matt Pinfield. Tickets will go on sale Friday, Dec. 14 at noon EST.

The proceeds from the show will go to local, Jersey Shore centric non-profit organizations such as the Coastal Habitat for Humanity, The Food Bank of Monmouth/Ocean Counties, Waves for Water, Food For Thought By The Sea, and RebuildRecover.

My Morning Jacket is also donating a portion of every ticket from their three consecutive sold out shows at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester and their special New Years Eve show in Boston to Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

I usually do not comment, but I read a few of the responses on this page My Morning Jacket
to Headline Sandy Benefit Concert | Under the Radar - Music Magazine.

I do have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay.
Is it only me or do a few of these comments come across as if they are coming
from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are writing at other online social sites,
