Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) released his excellent new album, VEGA INTL. Night School, last Friday via Mom + Pop. Now the band has shared a new short film entitled "Slumlord Rising," which is essentially a music video for the VEGA INTL. Night School tracks "Slumlord" and "Slumlord's Re-Lease," which run seamlessly back-to-back on the album as one composition. Tim Nackashi and Palomo directed the clip, which centers of a night at the disco that turns violent and perhaps a little sci-fi. It opens with a long continuous tracking shot that brings to mind Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas, among others.

Check out the video below, followed by Neon Indian's upcoming tour dates. Also read our review of VEGA INTL. Night School.
