As a Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, Booker T. Jones has a pretty remarkable Rolodex. That was made clear by the announcement of new album, The Road From Memphis (out May 10 via ANTI-Records). The 11 song album contains contributions from Yim Yames, Matt Berninger of The National, Sharon Jones, and the legendary Lou Reed. His backing band? None other than The Roots.
