New Michael Jackson Album “XSCAPE” Due Out May 13
Produced By Timberland
Mar 31, 2014 Michael Jackson
On May 13 Michael Jackson will release his final album XSCAPE via Epic. The posthumous eight-song collection “contemporizes” unreleased tracks from Jackson’s archives. (No, we’re not 100% sure we know what they mean by “contemporizes.” And yes, this is a worrying choice of words.) The “upgrade” comes via producers Timbaland, Rodney Jerkins, Stargate, Jerome “Jroc” Harmon, and John McClain. The deluxe version will come with a second disc featuring all the recordings in their original form.
“Michael left behind some musical performances that we take great pride in presenting through the vision of music producers that he either worked directly with or expressed strong desire to work with,” says executive producer L.A. Reid via press release. “We are extremely proud and honored to present this music to the world.”
