Norah Jones Covers Soundgarden’s “Black Hole Sun” Where Chris Cornell Performed Final Show
On Solo Piano Version Last Night at Detroit's Fox Theater

Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell passed away last week in Detroit after the band’s show at the Fox Theater. Cornell, who was only 52, was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the MGM Grand Detroit. Last night Norah Jones performed at the Fox Theater and she did a solo piano version of Soundgarden’s classic hit “Black Hole Sun.” Watch fan shot video below.
The police determined that Cornell took his own life by hanging, but his wife Vicky challenged that idea, suggesting that he may have taken too many doses of the anti-anxiety drug Ativan that he was prescribed and that may have affected his judgment, especially as side effects of the drug include suicidal thoughts.
