Supersonic is a documentary on Oasis from the producers behind the acclaimed Oscar-winning Amy Winehouse documentary Amy. It’s due out October 2 in the U.K. but now a U.S. theatrical release has been confirmed: its distributor A24 has announced that it will screen for one night only on October 26. Visit supersonic-movie.com for a list of participating theaters and to pre-buy tickets (the website will be updated daily as new theaters are confirmed). Below again is the film’s trailer.

Amy director Asif Kapadia is the executive producer and Amy producer James Gay Rees is a producer, with Mat Whitecross the director. Supersonic is named after the Oasis 1994 single (which also appeared on their debut album of the same year, Definitely Maybe).

Oasis also recently announced a deluxe reissue of 1997’s third album Be Here Now and shared a new mix of the album’s single “D’You Know What I Mean?” by guitarist/singer/main songwriter Noel Gallagher which is being tagged as “NG’s 2016 Rethink,” as well as a re-edited version of the song’s original video. A previously unreleased demo version of “Don’t Go Away” was also recently shared by the band.
