On March 16 Shure presents Under the Radar’s third of three free SXSW day parties. Leading up to the event we're letting you know about each artist playing. Today we're spotlighting of Montreal.

In a previous post we gave you the basic party details of the party: The party happens from 12:00-6:00 PM at the Flamingo Cantina at 6th and Red River (515 E. 6th Street, Austin, TX 78701). All events are free and open to the public—no RSVPs or badges are required. The third day also features performances from DeerhoofLost in the Trees, Cymbals Eat GuitarsDjango Djang, Youth Lagoon, and La SeraCome early for free rum courtesy of RedRum and VooDoo Spiced Rum (while supplies last). Other sponsors include PRS GuitarsDorado Music Packagingand Motormouthmedia.

Glitter-glam collective of Montreal have always been an Under the Radar favorite. For our party they’ve prepared a special treat—an exclusive performance of 2005 album, The Sunlandic Twins. This is the first—and perhaps only—time they plan on performing the album in full, so this is one set you won’t want to miss. Check out interviews with bandleader Kevin Barnes here and here. Check out Barnes' two part interview with Hall & Oats here and here. Check out a review of previous album False Priest here, and current release Paralytic Stalks here. Of course, you can always check below for audio and video accompaniment.
