Painted Palms Announce Sophomore Album, Share “Disintegrate”
Horizons Due Out September 4 via Polyvinyl

Painted Palms
Painted Palms are set to release their second album, Horizons, on September 4 via Polyvinyl. They have shared the album’s first single, “Disintegrate.” The song channels a bit of Primal Scream’s Screamadelica the same way Jaqwar Ma have and also wouldn’t sound out of place on a mix next to Cut Copy. It’s a hold step onto the dance-floor for the duo of Chris Prudhomme and Reese Donohue. Fittingly, Horizons was mixed by former DFA Records house engineer Eric Broucek. Check out the song below, followed by the album’s track-listing.
Horizons Track-Listing:
1) Refractor
2) Contact
3) Gemini
4) Glaciers
5) Echoes
6) Control
7) Disintegrate
8) Waterfall
9) Painkiller
10) Tracers
