Last year Pixies released a new album, Head Carrier, via Pixiesmusic/[PIAS]. Now the band has announced some American tour dates to go down in April and May. Cymbals Eat Guitars will support some dates, with Public Access TV the opener on the other shows. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 AM local time. All the dates are below, followed by the video for “Classic Masher.”

Head Carrier is the band’s second album since reuniting in 2004 and is the follow-up to 2014’s Indie Cindy, which was more of an EP collection than an album. It is the first album to feature Paz Lenchantin (A Perfect Circle, Zwan, The Entrance Band) as their new permanent bassist.
