It's a big week for fans of the USA Network's Mr. Robot. The show returns for its third season on Wednesday, October 11th. On the following Friday, October 13th, Lakeshore Records will release Mr. Robot V.4 - Original Television Series Soundtrack on CD and digitally, continuing their run of album artwork inspired by vintage video game cartridges with a Super Nintendo-inspired design.

We're excited to premiere a dark, foreboding clip from the upcoming release. Composer Mac Quayle is best known for his work on Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, and FX's Feud. Says Quayle of his music, "If the first season of Mr. Robot took us into Elliot’s mind, the second season drew us deeper into his subconscious. As we learned, it’s pretty dark in there and so naturally the music followed suit. Darker, weirder, more dissonant, more paranoid.”

Take a listen to "2.9_9 - Takeb4ckcontrol.act," a track from his latest release of Mr. Robot score:

Premiering its third season on USA this Wednesday, 10/9 central, Mr. Robot follows Elliot Alderson (Rami Malek), a cyber-security engineer who, along with Mr, Robot (Golden Globe Winner Christian Slater) and fsociety, starts a revolution to change the world.  Season 2 picks up 30 days after the now infamous fsociety 5/9 hack on multi-national company Evil Corp and explored the consequences of that attack as well as the illusion of control.  The series also start Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Stephanie Corneliussen, Martin Martin Wallström, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer, Bobby Cannavale and Emmy Award nominee BD Wong.
