Premiere: Criminal Hygiene Share Goofy Video For New Song “Dangers of Convenience”

Los Angeles-based garage pop-punk band Criminal Hygiene have shared a new track “Dangers of Convenience” and we are pleased to premiere its comical new video. The song takes a cautionary glance at the perils of easy-won comfort over a punchy and melodic crunch of guitars, while the video mirrors the advice of the song in a slapstick way. The video was directed by Jon Sortand of The Shins, and features model sets humorously spliced between footage filmed in the Yucca Valley. The track will be featured on their forthcoming album Run It Again, out March 1 via Dangerbird. Check out the link to the video, a pre-order link to the album, and the tour dates below.
Michael Fiore of the band had this to say about the song: “In a world where everything is seemingly in reach at the touch of a button on a screen, we wanted to show that convenience factors can ultimately lead to one’s death, either on the smallest, most asinine levels (portrayed in the video) or on a larger scale that you can imagine. The song is about relationships but the video is hinting something bigger.”
