New York-based indie rockers Earthquake Lights have shared their new video for “So Far No Luck,” off of their debut full-length Distress Signals, and we are pleased to premiere it. The video features the 19-piece Shattered Glass orchestra performing alongside the band in a live studio. The symphonic grandeur of the track is neatly complimented by the refined musicianship of the performers who bring the epic scale of the ballad to its full size. Check out the video below.
On the recording of the video, singer Myles Rodenhouse had this to say in a statement to Under the Radar: “Shattered Glass typically plays classical music, but it was our great pleasure to invite them to play these tunes with us. The level of musicianship there is so incredible that I’d actually been nervous inviting them to join us, even though I’ve worked recording them before, and Max (on big bass and managing) is a great friend of mine. But of course, they were really great to play with!”
Their debut full-length Distress Signals was self released in April of this year, following a lengthy writing and recording process that saw the band refine the material for seven years following their debut EP Bangups & Hangups.
