Premiere: High Tides - “Psychic Love Damage” Video
Debut Album Out July 31 on Rad Cult
Jul 20, 2015 High Tides
Blissed-out duo High Tides (Warren Kroll and Steven Lutes) makes dazed synth jams that recall downtempo classics like Moon Safari and Music Has the Right to Children, though the pair’s narcotic poolside sensibility might make you think of Ariel Pink or even Heidecker & Wood. High Tides’ latest single, a reimagining of Black Moth Super Rainbow’s “Psychic Love Damage,” turns the lazy psych-rock original into a beatific piece of tranquilized pop. The song was taken from High Tides self-titled debut LP, due out July 31 on Rad Cult. Watch the video for “Psychic Love Damage” below.
