Premiere: Library Voices – “Slacker” Video
Plus Upcoming Tour Dates
Self-professed “mid-fi rock band” Library Voices has offered up some decidedly lo-fi visual accompaniment for the deliriously catchy track “Slacker.” As per director Colby Richardson’s description, the video “was shot on someone’s half decayed Video 8 tapes that I found still stuck in the camcorder at a flea market.” The result: an occult horror-leaning clip with warped home video vibes.
Black magic and fuzzy psych-pop might sound like an odd pairing, and truth be told, they kind of are. But that weirdo dissonance only works in the video’s favor. Head below to watch and check out the band’s February and March tour dates.
