Premiere: Rainer – “Hope (Woman’s Hour remix)” MP3 Stream
Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams Due Out November 25 Via Kissability
Nov 21, 2013 RAINER
Last month, Rainer remixed Woman’s Hour track “Darkest Place.” Recently, Woman’s Hour returned the favor, taking their deft grayscale hand to “Hope.” The track hails from Rainer’s new EP Hope/Satin/Glass/Dreams, due out November 25 via Kissability.
“We found remixing ‘Hope’ thoroughly satisfying,” says Woman’s Hour. “Rebekah’s layered vocals were so lush and making them a focus was really the key. When hearing them in isolation, we felt a certain church - vibe, which influenced all of the instrumentation. We like to operate in dense sound and atmospherics in our own work and “Hope” immediately resonated with us in some way. A total pleasure.”
Check out the remixed track below. If you’re in London on November 28, be sure to grab tickets to the release party at The Sebright Arms.
