Premiere: The Rosebuds - “Esse Quam Videri”

New Album Sand + Silence Out Aug. 5

Next week Raleigh-based musical artists Ivan Howard and Kelly Crisp, a.k.a. The Rosebuds, will release their newest album Sand + Silence. Following the Justin Vernon-assisted cut “Blue Eyes,” Under the Radar is happy to premiere a brand new track off the record titled, “Esse Quam Videri.” Sand + Silence was recorded over the course of a single week at Vernon’s April Base Studio in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. “Everyone in the room we were working with is such a great musician, so we’d hit record and the whole thing would just sail,” says Crisp in a press release. “Everything would get done in just one or two takes, and the songs all ended up having this buoyancy to them.”
