Prophets of Rage
Prophets of Rage is a new supergroup of sorts featuring members of Rage Against the Machine (including Tom Morello), Public Enemy (Chuck D), and Cypress Hill. Previously the band had shared their first single, a cover of the Public Enemy song “Prophets of Rage” that the band is named after. Now they have announced their debut EP, The Party’s Over, which is due out August 25 via Caroline. The five-song EP includes two studio tracks (“Prophets of Rage” and the title track), along with three live tracks (including a reinterpretation of Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” recorded at their Cleveland performance timed to the Republican National Convention). Below is the tracklist, followed again by “Prophets of Rage” and their tour dates.
