Pulp Announces PulpTube
A Chance For Fans to Show Off Their Skills
It is a well-acknowledged fact sooner or later every blossoming musician must try their hand at a cover song. Britpop stalwarts Pulp have harnessed this phenomenon with their new project, PulpTube. Quite simply, it’s a collection—a greatest hits collection if you will—of fans’ cover songs.
But wait—there’s more. The band is encouraging fans to upload their own and vote on their favorites. The winner, gets a mysteriously phrased, “musical prize.” Humm…head over to the official website to learn more. Come on, you know you’ve got a version of “Common People” just waiting to come out.
