Canadian electro-pop duo Purity Ring (Megan James and Corin Roddick) have shared a new song, "Asido." No they haven't announced a new album, this is a standalone single shared in honor of the fifth anniversary of the band's 2012-released debut album, Shrines. The song premiered on as Zane Lowe's World Record on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio and can be streamed below.

Megan James had this to say about the song in a press release: "I imagine a tractor digging graves, I imagine crying blood, and I imagine eggs being swept away in it."
