Hot on the heels of his summer Nazi hunting fest Inglourious Basterds, Quentin Tarantino has another major announcement, or rather a major hint—he would revisit Kill Bill.

Six minutes into the Youtube clip of his appearance on Italian talk show, Parla con me, Tarantino prompts interviewer Serena Dandini, “You never asked the third question. Would I ever do a Kill Bill Volume 3?” Dandini parrots back the question, allowing Tarantino to triumphantly answer, “Yes”—eliciting screams of delight from audience and interviewer alike.

Tarantino goes on to proclaim “The Bride will fight again!”

He continues, explaining his reasoning for waiting a few more years to start production—allowing The Bride, and leading lady Uma Thurman—time off.

“Two reasons.” says Tarantino. “One, I think me and Uma needed a 10 year break because the first one was so hard. And the second one is…I love the character. I really love her. And I think she deserves 10 years of peace.”

Although he also hints, “After 10 years something happens that makes her fight again.”
