R.I.P. Women Guitarist Christopher Reimer

Died In Sleep at 26

The Calgary Herald reports that Christopher Reimer, guitarist for the indie rock outfit Women, died in his sleep last night. He was 26. The cause of death is still unknown. Women released their self-titled debut in 2008, with their follow-up Public Strain in 2010. The band initiated a hiatus after a public meltdown onstage. Reimer had joined The Dodos as part of their touring band in 2011.
