Nominees for the 2019 induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame were announced back in October. Today it has been announced who actually made the cut and is being inducted next year: Radiohead, The Cure, Roxy Music, Janet Jackson, Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, and The Zombies. The 34th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will happen on March 29, 2019 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

These 2019 nominees will have to hope they get inducted in a future year: Devo, MC5, Rage Against the Machine, Kraftwerk, LL Cool J, John Prine, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, and Todd Rundgren.

To be eligible an artist needs to have released their first album or single at least 25 years ago but no artists eligible for the first time were nominated this year. Radiohead and Rage Against the Machine were first eligible last year and were also nominated then. This year’s first time nominees included Devo, Roxy Music, Stevie Nicks, Todd Rundgren, John Prine, and Def Leppard.
