After sharing a brand new single titled “Cream on Chrome” last month, Ratatat, aka Mike Stroud and Evan Mast, have officially announced the release of their fifth studio album, Magnifique. Due out July 17 via XL, the follow-up to the band’s 2010 effort LP4 was recorded over the past four years in Jamaica, upstate New York, Long Island, and Brooklyn. The album’s cover art is a collection of sketches that Stroud and Mast produced while making the record.
