“When Doves Cry”

Prince is guy Minneapolis-born musician whose slippery-sexy songs and desire to “party like it’s 1999” had defined a generation. Robyn is a Swedish chanteuse who lit up blogs last summer with her anti-party anthem, “Dancing On My Own” and tore up stages with her dynamic performances. So other than glossy pop, what do the two have in common? An “obscure” little Prince tune called “When Doves Cry.”

Robyn recently dropped by BB4 program Track With a Seat, where she took on the tune—with a twist. Check out the video below. Who knows, maybe she’ll reprise the tune at Radio City Music Hall.
