Rose Elinor Dougall, Tom Furse (The Horrors), and Cathy Lucas (Fanfarlo) Form Innerspace Orchestra
Listen to Their Cover of Manfred Mann's "One Way Glass"
Mar 01, 2016 Innerspace Orchestra
Rose Elinor Dougall (a former member of The Pipettes and Mark Ronson‘s band, but also a great solo artist) has teamed up with Tom Furse of The Horrors and Cathy Lucas of Fanfarlo to form Innerspace Orchestra. The supergroup trio have shared their first single, a fantastic cover of Manfred Mann’s “One Way Glass.” Dougall’s vocals are at the fore, but musically there are definite hints of The Horrors, with shades of psych-rock and Eastern flourishes in the strings. The single will be released digitally March 4 via Different Recordings, an imprint of PIAS. There’s no word of when an album or EP is expected.
