Pacific Northwest hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces released two new interconnected albums, Quazarz: Born on a Gangster Star and Quazarz vs. The Jealous Machines, back in July via Sub Pop. And there’s a graphic novel version of the latter due out this Friday via Fantagraphics. Now they have shared a video for Born on a Gangster Star‘s “Shine a Light (feat. Thaddillac).” Neil Ferron wrote and directed the strange black & white video which takes place at a country wedding and features Shabazz Palaces’ rapper Ishmael Butler as some sort of human/goat baby creature who is about to be sacrificed (we think). Watch it below, followed by their upcoming tour dates.
