Sigur Rós To Play Bestival 2012

First Live Show in Four Years

After a Wall Street Journal interview revealed that they were working on a new album set for release sometime this year, Icelandic post-rock experimentalists Sigur Rós have announced that they will be headlining this year's Bestival music festival.

Scheduled to take place Sept. 6-9 in Isle of Wight, UK, the event's lineup also includes The xx, The Horrors, Spiritualized, Frankie Rose, First Aid Kit, and others. "Early-bird" tickets are available at Ticketline.
