The War on Drugs' Lost in the Dream was our #1 album of 2014 and a lot of other people agreed with us too. There have been hints that the band's major label debut (they moved from Secretly Canadian to Atlantic in 2015) might be on the way this year and yesterday the band shared a brief new video that featured a snippet of instrumental music and cut together black & white photos of the band in the recording studio. Now the band have shared a previously announced new song, "Thinking of a Place," which will be released as a 12-inch single on Record Store Day tomorrow. It's 11-minutes long, so any discussions of the band streamlining their sound for their new major label should be tabled. Listen to the gorgeous and expansive song below (and above is the cover art). Bossgaze is back!
