Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks Announce Beck-Produced Record

After appeasing long-time Pavement fans with a reunion tour last year, Stephen Malkmus is readying life again alongside his current outfit The Jicks with a new album scheduled for release August 23. Entitled Mirror Traffic, the new record features the production work of Beck. According to label Matador, the new work "makes a compelling case that after some 22 years in the public eye, Stephen Malkmus’ full range of musical and lyrical capabilities had yet to be previously explored."
