Former Girls frontman Christopher Owens will soon release his debut solo album Lysandre on Jan. 15. This morning the San Francisco native has premiered a stream of the 11-track record in its entirety online.
Providing a bit of self-examination on the track “Love Is In the Ear of the Listener,” Owens sings, “What if I’m just a bad songwriter, and everything I say has been said before? / Well, everything to say has been said before, and that’s not what makes or breaks a song.”
