After seventeen years and six studio albums, British rockers Supergrass are calling it a day. Hitting the end of the creative path (or the "seventeen-year-itch" as the band told NME) rather than animosity predicated the split. "Thanks to everyone who has supported us over the years," explained the group in a statement. "We still love each other but, cliché notwithstanding, musical differences have led to us moving on and of course we all wish each other well in the future."

For those lucky enough to be in the U.K. or France, the band is launching a brief farewell tour.

Dates:

6/8 - Glasgow Barrowland

6/9 - Manchester Academy

6/10 - London O2 Academy Brixton

6/11 - Paris La Cigalle
