Ted Leo Signs to Matador
New Album In Early 2010
When Lookout! Records went bankrupt, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists made the move to Touch and Go / Quarterstick. Then, earlier this year, Touch and Go shuttered their doors.
Now, the indie kingpin has found himself a new stomping ground: Matador Records. Leo's website lists Matador as his record label, and they confirmed it in their constantly updating Matablog.
Fans can expect a new full-length in early 2010. The as yet untitled release was recorded throughout 2009 at Brooklyn's Seaside Lounge. You can read a little more about it and listen to a very rough demo in this recent Stereogum Progress Report.
