Over the weekend familial pop duo Tegan and Sara announced that they would be reteaming with The Lonely Island to deliver a live performance of their Oscar-nominated song “Everything Is Awesome” at the 87th Annual Academy Awards. Written by Shawn Patterson for the animated feature The Lego Movie, “Everything Is Awesome” is up for Best Original Song against “Glory” from Selma, “Grateful” from Beyond the Lights, “I’m Not Gonna Miss You” from Glen Campbell…I’ll Be Me, and “Lost Stars” from Begin Again.
