Today, ATP announced that The Afghan Whigs will headline the I’ll Be Your Mirror music festival in London on May 27 and in New Jersey on September 22.

The Cincinnati band will headline the last day of the three day festival at Alexandra Palace in London and will replace Guided By Voices, who were the original headliners. Their second I’ll Be Your Mirror music festival show will take place in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The festival is also curated by frontman Greg Dulli. The line-up for the event has yet to be announced.

I missed out on seeing The Whigs twice due to cancellations, not this time. It will take some doing, but New Jersey here I come!

I’m pretty pro-college if a perosn really feels it’s what they want to do. (Truthfully I’m pro- anything anyone feels is really right for them.) But I don’t think it’s the only way. And like you said, locking that money away could prove to be pretty bad if our kids decide they want to go to culinary school or travel to India to study the culture or apprentice in construction or join the circus.
