The Jesus and Mary Chain
Scottish icons The Jesus and Mary Chain have been touring their classic 1985-released debut album Psychocandy, performing it in full in honor of its 30th anniversary. They haven’t released a studio album since 1998’s Munki, but in a new interview with Time Out New York frontman Jim Reid has revealed that they’ve finally started work on a new album.
“We are!” he confirmed. “We’re doing an album now. We actually just started recording. It’s early days, but I would say it’s a more mature sound for the Mary Chain. But let’s just wait and see.”
