The Kills Announce New Album, Share “Doing It to Death” Video
Ash & Ice Due Out June 3 via Domino

The Kills
The Kills (Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince) have announced a new album and shared a video for its first single. Ash & Ice is due out June 3 via Domino. Below is the video for “Doing It to Death,” followed by the album’s tracklist and the duo’s tour dates.
Hince co-produced the album with John O’Mahony and Tom Elmhirst, and Tchad Blake mixed Ash & Ice. The album was recorded in a rented house in Los Angeles and at the Electric Lady Studios in New York City. Ash & Ice is the follow-up to 2011’s Blood Pressures. The long gap between albums was partly due to Hince’s five hand surgeries. He ended up with a permanently damaged finger, meaning that he had to relearn how to play guitar.
