The National Reveal New LP Tracklist
High Violet Out May 11th
Brooklyn indie-rock linchpins The National have finally decided on the tracklist for their fifth LP High Violet. Check those out right here. We've already heard some promising new tracks, but based on titles alone, "Bloodbuzz Ohio" and "Lemonworld" look like potential anthems.
High Violet will be out May 10th in the U.K. and May 11th for the rest of the world (via 4AD). The cover artwork is based on a Mark Fox sculpture entitled "The Binding Force." We interviewed frontman Matt Berninger about the forthcoming long-player in December. Read that studio chat here.
High Violet:
01 Terrible Love
02 Sorrow
03 Anyone's Ghost
04 Little Faith
05 Afraid of Everyone
06 Bloodbuzz Ohio
07 Lemonworld
08 Runaway
09 Conversation 16
10 England
11 Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks

I saw them playing Bloodbuzz in youtube, I think it was at the Brooklyn’s Bell House. It kinda like an engine waiting to get to the right temperature before it goes brrrum though
