Jun 10, 2014 The New Pornographers By Mike Hilleary

A.C. Newman has once again called the troops together, revealing that The New Pornographers will be releasing a brand new album titled Brill Bruisers. The band’s first record since 2010’s Together, the new LP is due out Aug. 26 on Matador and features Neko Case, Dan Bejar, Blaine Thurier, John Collins, Kathryn Calder, Kurt Dahle, and Todd Fancey.

“This is a celebration record,” says Newman in a press release. “After periods of difficulty, I am at a place where nothing in my life is dragging me down and the music reflects that.”
