The Rapture Claim a New Album is Coming
The Grace of Your Love Due Out Sept. 6
May 23, 2011 The Rapture
Just because the rapture didn’t occur last Saturday doesn’t mean there isn’t one coming. The Rapture—as in the electro art-punk outfit from New York City—predicted a new prophecy today, and it’s one we will likely witness this September.
After teasing fans this weekend about the correlation between their moniker and the impending (false) apocalypse, The Rapture made the official announcement today about the release of their new full-length, The Grace of Your Love, on their Facebook and Twitter pages. According to the band’s press release, Grace was recorded last year in Brooklyn and Paris with producer Philippe Zdar, and is slated to drop Sept. 5 in the U.K. and Sept. 6 in the U.S. on DFA (which marks their return to the label, who released their debut). The album’s tracklist was also shared today and is posted below. That’s all the details The Rapture will divulge for now, but don’t worry—The Rapture is coming. Just give it three more months.
In The Grace Of Your Love Tracklist
1) Sail Away
2) Miss You
3) Blue Bird
4) Come Back to Me
5) In the Grace of Your Love
6) Never Gonna Die Again
7) Roller Coaster
8) Children
9) Can You Find a Way?
10) How Deep Is Your Love?
11) It Takes Time to Be a Man
