Taking place Sept. 6-8, Raleigh, North Carolina's 2012 Hopscotch Festival has announced its lineup of artists. Among those scheduled to perform will be The Roots, Jesus and Mary Chain, Liars, Yo La Tengo, Built to Spill, Thee Oh Sees, Deerhoof, Sunn O))), Zammuto, Zola Jesus, Wye Oak, and many others. The Mountain Goats' John Darnielle will also be in attendance to play two very different sets: the first, an acoustic collection of Mountain Goats songs, and the second, a series of metal covers played on the piano.
