The Shins Hint at New Music

Snippet of New Song Posted to Instagram

The Shins have posted to their Instragram account what appears to be a snippet of a new song, hinting that there’s a new single or album in the works. They’ve also posted some in-the-studio photos (such as the one used on this page). If it is a new album, it will be the follow-up to 2012’s Port of Morrow. Listen below.

Last September, Broken Bells (the collaboration between James Mercer of The Shins and producer Danger Mouse, aka Brian Joseph Burton) shared a brand new single, “It’s All That Talk Again.” It was the duo’s first new music since 2014’s After the Disco.
