The Weeknd Accepting Calls To Say “Thank You” To Fans
Call 647-794-9223
On Sept. 10 bedroom crooner The Weeknd will release his upcoming album Kiss Land. This morning the artist otherwise known as Abel Tesfaye posted a video "commercial" featuring a young Japanese girl insisting that you call a continuously scrolling phone number on display. While the clip itself gives the impression of promoting a phone-sex service - especially when random, second-lasting shots of two women kissing are spliced in the footage - the number being advertised (647-794-9223) will actually bring the caller to an outgoing message by Tesfaye himself, thanking you for supporting his music.
The best part is that at the end of the message, Tesfaye says he will be calling people back at random to say hello.
