Jack White's Third Man Records has announced plans for an ambitious pop-up store at this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas. Having previously popped-up in Los Angeles, New York, and London, TMR's temporary locations are made into seemingly permanent storefronts to provide a one-of-a-kind customer experience. The SXSW location, which will be at Frank's Restaurant on 4th and Colorado in downtown Austin, will be open March 17th through the 20th with some big exclusives and pinball, to boot. And you don't need an SXSW pass to revel in the splendor—it's open to the public.

For sale will be "Texas Sized Vinyl" of many TMR releases8" versions of all their 45s, 13" versions of The White Stripes' De Stijl and White Blood Cells, a 13" version of the Raconteurs' Broken Boy Soldiers. Also for purchase will be limited edition handmade wooden boxes collecting the complete TMR catalog of 45s, a chance to purchase the debut of their re-issue series (Jon Wayne's "Texas Funeral"), a TMR branding station, complete box sets of the White Stripes documentary Under Great White Northern Lights, and extremely limited (4) Rob Jones screen prints. They will also be hosting special screenings of Under Great White Northern Lights.

And for the parched and famished, they'll also be dishing out Third Man hot dogs and Third Man cocktails.
