Thom Yorke Wrote Exclusive Song for New Moon Soundtrack
Bon Iver Also Contributing to Twilight Sequel
According to the film's director, Thom Yorke wrote a new song for the soundtrack to the Twilight sequel New Moon.
New Moon helmer Chris Weitz corroborated the news in an interview with HitFix.com that took place at Comic-Con. According to HitFix, Weitz got his first listen to the track on Friday. "Unless it's sounds of him belching, I think I'll put it in," Weitz joked.
Oh if this wasn't already gonzo enough, guess who else penned a new track for New Moon? Bon Iver! "He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard," says Weitz. Death Cab For Cutie and Muse are also confirmed for the final tracklisting but you never know with this kind of stuff. Who's next? My Bloody Valentine? Is it 2012? (Via Pitchfork)

ohhh, news couldn’t be more exciting. Muse, Death Cab, Bon Iver and Thom Yorke… this must be more than a bunch of artists trying to get involved with the vampire phenomenon… there must be some great music director in there surely…

I heard a rumor that this is due to the fact Yorke himself IS a vampire.
