Toro y Moi (Columbia, South Carolina’s Chaz Bundick) is releasing two albums this year and the first one coming down the pipe is the genre beach party, Causers of This. Fans of the poptimist’s reappropriating tunes (i.e. - “Blessa”) will delight in the fact that Causers’ release date has been bumped up three weeks. The debut is dropping on shelves on February 2nd via Carpark Records.
All this good news is backed up by the announcement of Toro Y Moi’s fairly robust North American trek with fellow psych-poppers The Ruby Suns. Ryan McPhun’s Auckland, New Zealand band will also be supporting a sunny new release. Their third LP, Fight Softly drops March 2nd, via Sub Pop. Check out the full itinerary below. The tour includes a stop at SXSW and a March 15th one-off gig with Quasi and Explode Into Colors at Tucson’s Plush.

I will recommend not to hold back until you get enough money to order goods! You should just take the loan or just short term loan and feel free

I was just wondering ( i’ve noticed it live too) that they must use something to make their voice all dream-like and spacey. Something like auto-tune but not way over to the T-pain side .. Is it a special vocoder?
Thanks
