Film Festival Dates to be Announced
In the past five years, Jose González has moved from well-kept Swedish secret to an internationally noted folk musician. Now his journey towards self-understanding has been documented in new film, The Extraordinarily Ordinary Life of Jose González. Directed by Mikel Cee Karisson (who has also lensed videos for Fever Ray), the 74 minute documentary was shot over three years and multiple countries. In addition to concert footage, the film uses a host of multi-media—including González’s own verbal diary entries—to explore the creative process. Check out the trailer below.
